Sun Life Grepa launches ‘H.I.P. for All’ inclusive healthcare campaign with Enchong Dee

Sun Life Grepa Financial, Inc. (Sun Life Grepa), a major life insurance company in the Philippines, launches its health insurance program called “H.I.P. (Healthy. Informed. Protected.) for All,” to encourage healthy lifestyles and unveil holistic health protection solutions. The campaign aims to promote greater healthcare access among Filipinos through comprehensive and inclusive health insurance plans for both businesses and invidividuals. Actor, host, and former national athlete Enchong Dee has been named campaign ambassador, as announced during the company’s H.I.P. Fest 2026 mall event.
Kicking off Sun Life Grepa’s “H.I.P. for All” campaign, Dee stars in a video that advocates for investing in health protection to make the most out of life. As the face of the campaign, he supports Sun Life Grepa in addressing the health and wellness concerns of Filipinos across different life stages.
“Our health is truly our greatest asset. This includes not only physical health, but also mental well-being, and financial readiness. Taking care of ourselves starts with the choices we make every day—staying active, getting regular health checkups, seeking early treatment when needed, and preparing financially for the unexpected in life,” Dee said.
“Sun Life Grepa’s health insurance program resonates with me because I share the same belief that there is so much more to life and that you can make the most out of it by being healthy and getting the health protection you need. Kapag healthy at protektado ka, ready ka for more. This is the mindset that I’d like to advocate to fellow Filipinos so they can prepare for life’s uncertainties and genuinely live with confidence,” the campaign ambassador added.
The company’s health protection solutions combine accessible financial support with features and services that encourage a healthier choices. With “H.I.P. for All” ambassador Dee leading the campaign, Sun Life Grepa shifts focus to helping Filipinos take action for their futures even before an illness occurs. Dee maintains that preparing ahead financially through securing health insurance early can be fundamental to achieving one’s life goals.
“When we looked for an ambassador, we wanted someone who reflects what H.I.P. stands for— someone who values one’s health, stays informed, and does proactive steps to protect himself and his loved ones from the uncertainties of life. That’s why we are proud to have Enchong join in this movement,” Sun Life Grepa President Richard S. Lim stated.
Dee’s partnership with Sun Life Grepa comes at a critical time. The Philippines faces several healthcare challenges, including rising costs, difficulty accessing quality care, and lack of preparedness for medical emergencies. Data released in June 2026 from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) shows that around 41.2% of the country’s total healthcare spending in 2025 came from household out-of-pocket payments.[1]
Lim emphasized that this number reflects the financial reality of many Filipinos today. Healthcare out-of-pocket payments are taken from lifetime savings, emergency funds, and loans. Sun Life Grepa’s program sets out to bridge this gap between Filipinos’ health and wellness needs and the protection available to them.
“Today, health is no longer a medical issue. It is a financial issue, a family issue, and increasingly, it is one of the biggest concerns facing Filipino households,” Lim declared.
“An insurance company should not measure success only by the claims it pays. It should also measure success by the illnesses it helps prevent. This is the future we believe in and the future that ‘H.I.P. for All’ is helping us build,” the Sun Life Grepa executive added.
The “H.I.P. for All” campaign is built around four commitments that reflect Sun Life Grepa’s advocacy: healthy living to encourage Filipinos to invest in their health as prevention remains the best protection; early detection as regular checkups, timely screening and detecting illness early often leads to better treatment outcomes; financial support so that families can focus on treatment and recovery with Sun Life Grepa programs designed to provide financial confidence; and lastly, recovery care so that a patient can return to work, rebuild routines and regain quality of life.
The company empowers Filipinos to live healthier lives through investments in preventive care, wellness advocacy, and meaningful partnerships with healthcare providers and communities. Lim affirms that Filipinos deserve solutions that not only help them recover financially but also support them in staying healthy in the first place.
“The campaign is about helping Filipinos achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives because the greatest gift we can help Filipinos protect is not just their savings, not just their income, not just their future but [more importantly], their chance to have more tomorrows and more meaningful moments with the people they love,” Lim concluded.
Sun Life Grepa’s “H.I.P. for All” campaign reaffirms the company’s dedication to providing clients with financial security and healthier lives as their health insurance partner.
